Mandated OFT
ON FARM TESTING: Testing of any improved technology along with the farmers practice in the farmer’s field with active participation of both the scientists and farmers is known as OFT. Total 08 technologies were assessed on 53 locations. The details are given as follows-

Among the improved / hybrids varieties, PU-35 in Black gram, TKG-306 in Sesame and JS-9305 and JS-9560 in Soybean, have been well accepted and there is steady increase in kharif area year by year. In situ moisture conservation technologies also have made a good impact.
